BANK WINDHOEK EXTENDS ITS CONTRACT WITH STEFAN LUDIK AS THE SOLO BRAND AMBASSADOR
Following the success of the 6th Solo Banking Buzz Road Show to schools, Bank Windhoek announced that they have renewed their agreement with Stefan Ludik to be the Ambassador for their youth product called Solo, for another year. As the Solo Brand Ambassador, Stefan Ludik will continue to visit schools across the country, educating the youth on banking and saving through the education initiative entitled “Banking Buzz”.

“With the renewal of the contract, Bank Windhoek, together with Stefan Ludik, are demonstrating our commitment towards improving knowledge about banking amongst the youth. The Bank Windhoek Solo Banking Buzz Road Show is a fun project that is used to convey important messages about banking and planning for the future”, said Marlize Horn, Senior Manager of Marketing and Corporate Communication Services.

Since the launch of the first Bank Windhoek Solo Banking Buzz Road Show in October 2007 a total of six road shows were successfully completed across Namibia. Bank Windhoek have taken the road show to Windhoek, Mariental, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Henties Bay, Okahandja, Arandis, Otjiwarongo, Outjo, Oshakati, Ongwediva, Ondangwa, Tsumeb, Okakarara, Grootfontein, Gobabis, Rehoboth, Aranos, Keetmanshoop, Karasburg, Noordoewer, Omaruru, Oranjemund and Lüderitz, Katima Mulilo, Nkurenkuru and Rundu educating primary and secondary schools on banking.

Being informed about banking, and educated about saving, will help them to start planning for the future from a very young age,” said Stefan Ludik, Bank Windhoek’s Solo Brand Ambassador.
